Vida Events is thrilled to be partnering once again with the team at The Alzheimer Society of Calgary! In it's 29th year we are moving to The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre. Along with a new location we will be introducing a Kid’s Zone and 1KM walk. As always this event promises to be more than just a race; it’s a chance to build community and support our friends and family so that no one needs to face Alzheimer’s alone.

We are proud to have partnerd once again with this life changing organization! In it's 28th year The Alzheimer Society of Calgary is bringing together a community of care givers, neighbors, friends and family to raise awareness and support those affected by Alzheimer's.
October 8th 2017 - Eau Claire Market
For the third year running Vida Events and the Alzheimer Society of Calgary partnered to deliver another successful Annual Investors Group Alzheimer Walk and Run. More than 1,400 participants gathered together at Eau Claire Market to take part in the event. Family groups, corporate teams, kids and dogs walked and ran to raise funds and awareness for the cause. Despite the chilly weather, the morning was filled with laughter, joy and an uplifting sense of community. In total, over $280,000 was raised to provide vital supports for Calgarians impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Because you care about Alzheimer’s. And Calgary. Are you in? Thanksgiving traditions often involve family, friends and someone running around in a turkey costume. The Alzheimer Walk and run is no exception. For the second year in a row Vida Events and The Alzheimer Society of Calgary are teaming up to present the 26th Investors Group Alzheimer Walk and Run. Raising awareness, funds and a heart rates is the name of the game.

Alzheimer’s: it matters to you. Maybe you know it well or maybe it’s just come on your radar. Either way, you need a community to walk alongside you. Over 1500 participants came together on Thanksgiving Sunday for an incredible fall morning surrounded by family, friends, and an organization dedicated to working to ensure that people impacted by dementia have access to high quality education, care and support throughout their journey of impact.
